The Senders
In The Senders choreographer Stav Yeini creates together with a.o. a video designer, sound engineer, scent and fermentation specialists an immersive, synesthetic experience that stimulates curiosity and wonder and allows you to experience reality in an unseen yet amplified way. The work emphasizes inclusion, empathy and a profound listening to non-human life forms. In this way it wants to bring about an evolution towards a sensory way of knowledge production and the possibility of a new world beyond the economic and ecological crisis.

Part of EXTRACT #2
Extract #2 is a platform for seven artists who have been working in STUK’s studios in recent years. What these artists have in common is their interest in challenging the established standards. The mini festival is concluded with the symposium Transforming Relations which offers a theoretical framework and zooms in on how choreography can redefine calibrated gender relations.
