Collective Exhibition for a Single Body

The Private Score 2019

A body is dissected into distinct parts, as in an anatomical study. Each part (limb, muscle or organ) becomes the medium of an action overseen by a supervisor and performed by different authors that have been invited. The Private Score Leuven 2019 is an exhibition of performative gestures based on works by artists from o.a. the Kontakt Collection Vienna. The gestures discerned in these works have been translated into a score intended for performance by dancers who appear in every - day situations in a spontaneous manner.
