Part II: The Nightcap

Domingo, een collectief van vier kunstenaars uit Genève, laat zich inspireren door de bijzondere kwaliteiten van de tafelschikkingen in de schilderijen van Dieric Bouts. Met minimale en symbolische kenmerken verwijzen ze naar de religieuze moraal van de schilder. Domingo dekt een tafel die door zijn zorgvuldige samenstelling van gesculpteerde serviezen verwijst naar Bouts. De objecten op deze tafel vormen de basis voor vier personages van een performance die zich afspeelt als een tweeluik: Het diner (eerder op de avond in Cas-Co) en Het slaapmutsje in STUK.

Domingo, a collective of four artists fro Geneva, draws inspiration from the specific qualities of the table settings in the paintings of Dieric Bouts. With minimal and symbolic attributes they refer to the painter's religious morality. With its careful selection of sculpted tableware, Domingo's table setting refers to Bouts' work.The objects on this table form the basis for four characters of a performance that plays out as a diptych: The Dinner (earlier in the evening in Cas-co) and The Nightcap in STUK.
