Exhibition

The oeuvre of Vasco Araújo is rooted in literature and philosophy. While deconstructing and reconstructing behavioural codes, he develops his own visual language. His films, photos, and sculptures stimulate the critical exploration of a variety of themes: the gaze of the other, the ambiguity of relationships, the construction of identity, sexuality, and the geography of feelings. In this solo exhibition, he is presenting a selection of works from the period between 2004 and 2018, with a focus on recent work.
