Elma is a site-specific audio piece made for the museum space at M. You experience the space through a story that holds a museum employee as the protagonist of the story. A second voice gives directions that guide you vision and movement around the space. The voice-over makes the things that you see appear differently. Fiction and reality are blended together. Your body becomes a camera, lead actor and film projector all at once. Alex Reynolds’ work combines elements from film, performance and sound in extraordinary compositions.
