Playground

With a number of subtle, frivolous and unusual interventions, Bas Schevers brings a playful element to Playground. On the opening night, Schevers (currently last-year student at HISK in Ghent) brings Stunt, which makes for suspense and uproar in the courtyard. In Game, you can win €100 just like that, provided you display a certain amount of creativity and stick to the rules. Stage displays footage that was shot during the STUK START opening festival, during which he placed a plinth in the public arena and recorded what the public brought to this plinth. During the Stereo Coincidences mini-performances, apparent coincidences are given extra prominence by the fact that they’re also taking place elsewhere simultaneously.
