store is a shop. Art is a business. In store you can buy
movements, actions and behaviours. You are free to choose a performance
product out of the list. As soon as it is paid, Matsune & Subal perform
for you. Through the performance they create a product which the
audience/customer could take away or get delivered by post.
store questions the consumption of art and the consuming
of consuming culture. It lets the audience/customer analyze his/her own
role as consumer of performance and his/her own performance of purchase.
store plays humorously with the idea of a successful business chain.
Several products are especially created in connection to the neighbour
shops,
surroundings and the festival. With prices starting at 80 Cents – art is
finally affordable for everyone.
