For this new performance, artists Ulla von Brandenburg, Julien Discrit, Thomas Dupouy and Laurent Montaron drew their inspiration from the phenomenon of synaesthesia. This neurological process automatically links one sense to another; in this case, somebody seeing colours when hearing music. In close cooperation with a synaesthesist, an intriguing soundscape on three traditional reed organs is translated live into a live spectacle of colour planes and projections on stage.
