Words appear and disappear, light is switched on and turned off, curtains glide passed, video images visualize space. Each event in Suchan Kinoshita’s (Japan/NL) installation follows a detailed score adding structure to chaos. A meticulous scenario transforms the installation constantly. A central revolving stage allows the visitors to watch the installation, like a performance. The wooden structures in the Paviljoenenzaal function as backstage, technical and rehearsal rooms. Inbetweening is exhibition, theatre, puppet show and carousel of images all in one.
