Pick-Up not only refers to the process used by the artists featured of picking up pieces of information from everyday situations but also discusses the succession of artworks according to a script, like songs on an album. The artwork on display in this group exhibition transforms ordinary actions into mysterious, political, emotional or even critical statements about reality. The way in which the works are presented is closely related to their content: they follow each other one by one in a darkened space. In the course of 45 minutes projections, drawings, texts and audio material demand for the attention of the visitor.
