Playground

Erwin Wurm liberates objects from their familiar context and gives them new meaning. Objects acquire illogical shapes and appearances which raise fundamental questions about art, culture and the truth we take for granted. In his exploration of sculpture through different media anything can become sculpture: actions, written or drawn instructions, or even a thought. The exhibition at STUK shows a series of new installations. Following the artist’s instructions visitors are invited to interact with the displayed objects.
