Yael Davids

A Line, A Word, A Sentence

STUK Verbeeckzaal

Yael Davids explores the human body and approaches it as an object, space or architecture. With her new work, A Line, a Word, a Sentence., she has created a human architecture that refers to demonstrations, protest and emptiness. Davids poses the question: When does a line become a word and then a sentence? Can a boundary or a wall also be a mask? She translates these questions into a minimal arrangement and a choreography for objects and performers. Davids’ installation will be on permanent view and will also be activated by a group of performers at specific times.
